PRODUCT REVIEW | ApHogee Deep Moisture Shampoo

Nicole Webster's natural hair in a flat-ironed and twisted out.

I decided to try ApHogee Deep Moisture Shampoo because I really believe in using pH balanced products - especially when I'm cleansing my hair. Balanced products are usually much less damaging to the cuticle of the hair. Also,  I use heat on a regular basis and this product is geared towards heat-damaged, colour-damaged and chemically damaged hair.

The Aphogee Deep Moisture Shampoo is thick and creamy with a pearly off-white colour. It has a really nice sweet scent that lingers but isn't overbearingly strong. It has great lather and slip and actually feels like a conditioner instead of a shampoo. While rinsing, I actually a little difficulty getting it out as it  felt like a creamy silky conditioner that is a little challenging to get out of my hair. This didn't bother me at all.

The product has so much slip that I was  able to detangle my hair while shampooing the conditioner-like mixture and my hair still felt clean and moisturised - not stripped like regular sulphate shampoos.

I highly recommend this shampoo. It's a 5 out of 5. A little bit goes a longgg way. My hair definitely felt stronger and more moisturised at the same time and that is probably due to the moisture and protein balance in the product. After blow-drying, my hair felt lighter, fluffier and stronger.
