I love this style. It will allow me to exercise and wash my hair without having to worry about maintenance. I'll be using a sulfur-based medicated spray with glycerine as my braids spray and from time to time, I'll mist with Infusium 23 and seal with a natural oil cocktail (maybe every 5 days).
For exercise, I'll be doing a combination of things. Today, I was so unbelievably tired that I just did some online workout from my iPad. I didn't even have the energy to set anything up. Check out the workout video above. But, I really want something that will challenge me without being "insane." I'm really not into the Insanity hype. I'm sure it works but I don't enjoy people yelling at me. I dunno. Time will tell. Maybe I'll find some other challenge series. Any suggestions?
Now for the bad side - the diet. I had pizza left over from yesterday and just couldn't bring myself to throw it out so I had pizza for lunch. Oh, and I also had a lot of sugar in my morning coffee. I'm trying to reduce both my coffee and sugar intake so that's not good - not good at all. Let's see how the rest of the first week goes.
What? I don't need to lose weight? This is what people have been telling me over and over, but, they aren't the ones whose thighs are constantly rubbing together as if they're in a fighting match all day long. Just look at the comparison of my face over the last 3-4 years below.

So yeah, it's time to lose weight and get healthier. Who is with me? I won't be taking a starting weight. For me, the number truly does not matter. I just want to be fit, healthy and look good.
